A surge of Gulf moisture will bring a better chance for showers and a few storms today. While we'll still be warm for February in the upper 70s, the rain around may prevent us from continuing our streak of record heat.

Drier conditions return tomorrow, though, and once again record high temperatures will be threatened with highs in the low to mid-80s. On Sunday, a cold front will move slowly through the area increasing our chances for rain and clouds and limiting highs to the 70s.

The front will stall offshore on Monday dropping rain chances and high temperatures to a more average feel for this time of year.

Don't get used to it, though, the front will move back north as a warm front on Tuesday bringing back near-record heat for the middle of the week.
