After a brief warm-up on Monday another major blast of Arctic air arrives on Tuesday. Temperatures will fall back into the 30's during the day with increasing northerly winds. Wind chills will make it feel like teens and 20's by the afternoon.

Full freeze precautions go back into effect for Tuesday night and Wednesday night for both sides of the lake.

At this time the coldest readings on the North Shore are expected to reach the upper teens and lower 20's.

South of the lake, parts of the metro area will reach hard freeze criteria in the middle 20's for both nights as well.

Conditions rapidly improve by Friday with highs returning to the 50's. Even warmer weather is expected for the weekend with the threat of sea fog returning. Our next rain chance will be late on Sunday or Sunday night as it appears right now.
