WATCH LIVE ON 7NEWS SUNRISE: Tax reform

SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA (KPLC) -

Good Morning. John Bridges and Britney Glaser with a look at what's coming up on 7News Sunrise.

A man freed from Louisiana's death row says his case was corrupted by a biased autopsy and a prosecutor's racism and religious fervor.

The woman at the center of an investigation by the state auditor's office is responding to the report that she took $34,000 for her personal use.

Tax cuts that could affect you and your businesses may finally happen soon.

The case of Welsh Alderman, Colby Perry, being sued by the mayor, her children and the police chief for slander, is continuing to develop.

A local man called us to complain that he had only received half of the homestead exemption applied to his property tax bill, which meant the bill was higher than it should have been.

Plus, family and friends of a young Shreveport man killed in a medical helicopter crash in Arkansas say that he died doing what he loved to do.

And a local veteran receives an incredible gift.

In weather, with the morning already starting off with slightly warmer temperatures, clouds will continue to thicken up over the area and make for a cloudier morning overall as temperatures continue to inch up a degree or two each hour through sunrise to near 50 degrees. Meteorologist Ben Terry will have the latest in your 'First Alert Forecast.'

Remember if you are not near a TV this morning, you can watch us live on the desktop or your smartphone.
