OCEANSIDE, CA (WTVM) – A U.S. Marine showing affection isn’t something you see every day unless of course, it involves daddy’s little princess.

A photo shoot between U.S. Marine Kevin Porter and his 5-year-old daughter Ashley is heartwarming as it shows the two of them having afternoon tea together.

Photographer Kyndal Rose captured the stunning pictures and posted the gallery on Facebook stating, “Taking a break from training the future of the Marine Corps to have some afternoon tea with his princess!”

The post received almost 8,000 shares, 3,000 likes and hundreds of comments from Facebook users swooning over the photo shoot.

“I had the special opportunity to photograph this drill instructor and his daughter. It was an honor to capture the love and joy between them,” said Photographer Kyndal Rose.

Rose also says that as the photos have gone viral, and holds a powerful message, it seems it was just what America needed to see.
