SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA (KPLC) -

Good Morning. John Bridges and Jillian Corder here with a look at what's coming up on 7News Sunrise.

A Louisiana-based company's pipeline transporting an ethane-propane mix explodes in Missouri.

Wildfires continue to wreak havoc in Tennessee. We hear from a Lake Charles couple who were forced to evacuate while on vacation in Gatlinburg.

The Lake Charles Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting on Opelousas Street. KPLC's Candy Rodriguez will be live with more details.

Plus, you probably have seen paintings of this Louisiana artist and not even known it. Dave McNamara explores the works of artist Robert Dafford in the Heart of Louisiana.

And Acadian Acres is just one example of mobile home owners forced out to make way for RV's. Many are wondering whether the recent economic expansion is to blame and whether their homes will soon be taken over by temporary workers.

In weather, the rain should be well to our east before daylight Wednesday morning and temperatures will be cooler. Temperatures will struggle to reach the upper 60s during the day despite abundant sunshine. Meteorologist Ben Terry will have more coming up in your 'First Alert Forecast.'

Remember, if you are not near a TV this morning, you can watch us live on the desktop or your smartphone.
