Large police presence near N. Crocker and Granger streets after CPSO responds to burglary in progress

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

A large number of law enforcement officers were in the area of N. Crocker and Granger streets in Sulphur.

Kim Myers, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman, said deputies responded to a burglary in progress. The burglar is now in custody and the scene has been cleared.

A KPLC photographer saw some Calcasieu deputies with their guns drawn.
