LSU's three-game losing streak is finally over, Saturday, after beating Florida 96-91 in Baton Rouge.
Antonio Blakeney finished with a career-high 32 points. Freshman phenom Ben Simmons finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
The victory moved LSU (17-12,10-6), into a three-way tie for third-place in the SEC with Vanderbilt and South Carolina.
The Tigers led by as many as 17 points, but escaped late with free throw shooting, which for most of the season hasn't been their strong suit.
LSU next plays at home Tuesday night against Missouri.
