McNeese adds four to football coaching staff

LAKE CHARLES, LA - New McNeese football head coach Lance Guidry introduced his 2016 coaching staff to the media on Friday, a staff he says is the right fit for the Cowboys.
 
"There's a lot of experience up here, a lot of success," said Guidry speaking about his staff of 10 so far with a defensive coordinator still to be hired. "These guys are not only great on the field, but they are tremendous in the homes when recruiting. They can sell McNeese because they've lived it."
 
On Tuesday Guidry announced the hiring of three of the greatest to put on the blue and gold in Kerry Joseph, Zack Bronson and Charlie Ayro, in addition to Dennis Smith who as FBS coaching experience.
 
Guidry also announced the coaching position changes that includes Landon Hoefer being promoted to offensive coordinator; Lark Hebert moving from linebacker coach to the defensive line; and Eman Naghavi, the offensive line coach, adding the title of recruiting coordinator. Toby Willis (tight ends) andCarlos Perez (defensive ends) also return.
 
Joseph will be co-offensive coordinator and will coach the wide receivers; Bronson will handle the defensive backs; Ayro the linebackers; and Smith will coach the running backs and will work with special teams.
