Coastal flooding study producing flood of concerns from residents

Good Evening,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for Nightcast.

A new coastal flooding study by the Army Corps of Engineers is producing a flood of concerns from residents over the rights of property owners. KPLC's Erika Ferrando will explain.

Plus, Governor Bobby Jindal was in Iowa this weekend with other presidential hopefuls. You'll hear what he had to say.

And, that's all folks! -- The United Artist Theater in Lake Charles shuts its doors after poor sales.

Also, we'll tell you about some traffic closures to watch out for on your morning commute.

Not a bad Sunday to get outside, but more showers will kick off the work week. Meteorologist Zack Fradella has a look the forecast.

We'll see you tonight at ten for these stories and more. Until then, stay up to date with the KPLC 7 News Mobile App.
