Community leader Faye Brown Blackwell dies early Wednesday morning

*New from overnight: longtime community leader and former Lake Charles City Council member Faye Brown Blackwell has died. She passed away this morning after battling a lengthy illness.  We will remember the life and legacy of this special woman who made history in Louisiana.

*SOWELA Technical Community College is ranked eighth in the nation for the fastest-growing public two-year college.  KPLC's Erica Bivens will be live from the SOWELA campus interviewing Chancellor Neil Aspinwall about the new offerings to help students pursue technical careers.

*We have an inspiring Teen Report this morning following a high school student diagnosed with cancer.  Hear about her brave fight and what it's like balancing school with chemo treatments.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry is blowing the fog horn today!  He'll have a look at the foggy morning and the rain chances on the rise for the end of the week.
