New general at Ft. Polk, SWLA Connected, changing weather pattern

*Fort Polk and the Joint Readiness Training Center could be getting a new commanding officer.  We'll tell you about the man who could replace Brigadier General William B. Hickman.

*The Lake Area is preparing for more people to move into the region over the next few years.  You can start readying yourself for the influx as well.  This morning, KPLC's Olivia Vidal will join us live to show us a new website and smartphone app just for Southwest Louisiana that can help you make your community and neighborhood a safer place.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry has your rainfall totals from a very wet weekend and a look ahead to rain chances for this week.  He's also tracking a cold front that will move into the area over the next 24 hours.

*Thousands of runners are expected to fill the streets of Baton Rouge this weekend for the Louisiana Marathon.  Hear about the impact to the state and how many different countries will be represented in the race.
