Local teens raise awareness to stop human trafficking

Good Afternoon,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on today.

First, we won't have a six o'clock show due to NFL football on NBC.

Human trafficking is a serious issue that happens every day. Tonight at ten, KPLC's Erica Bivens we'll show you how some Lake Area teens did their part to raise awareness.

Plus, it may have been cold this morning but that didn't stop hundreds from getting up to get dirty for a good cause. KPLC's Erika Ferrando was there for the popular Color Vibe 5K.

It was nice to see the sun this week, even though the clouds have returned. Meteorologist Ben Terry in for Zack this weekend. He'll have the forecast.

We'll see you tonight at Ten for Nightcast. Until then, we're always on at kplctv.com.
