Utility help in Calcasieu Parish, carnival kick-off, DDA meeting

*A program in Calcasieu Parish aims to help low income families pay their utility bills.  We will explain how you can begin signing up for an appointment today to see if you qualify for electric and gas utility help.

*A Moss Bluff family is displaced after a weekend house fire.  See the video from Victoria Drive and find out where the investigation stands this morning.

*You can expect to see a heavy emergency responder presence at South Beauregard High School today.  We will tell you what's being done as part of a major planned safety drill.
