Meet the 7News Sunrise Team:
John Bridges has been waking up Southwest Louisiana since the late 1970s. His news career got started in radio at that time. He moved to KPLC in 1992 and became a member of the 7News Sunrise Crew in 1996. John was born and raised here, so he knows what makes the Lake Area "tick." He stays active in local organizations and is a frequent emcee for local charitable events. John has been honored several years in a row by "Lagniappe" and "Times of Southwest Louisiana" readers as "Favorite Media Personality." When he's not anchoring Sunrise, John writes and produces Louisiana Traveler and Hometown Patriots for KPLC. John is married and has one son.
