LCPD to hold news conference on violent home invasion

Good Tuesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on this Tuesday Sunrise:

*The Lake Charles Police Department is set to host a news conference today in reference to a violent home invasion from last week.  We'll have the details of this morning's news conference and tell you what we know about the scary turn of events.

*The Port of Lake Charles debates the seizure of land for the Sasol expansion.  We will take you inside a special meeting from last night that turned into a heated debate.

*It is showdown day in the U.S. Senate on the Keystone XL pipeline.  Supporters of the project have been scrambling for what could be the deciding vote to pass a bill authorizing the project to send Canadian oil to the Gulf of Mexico.  It has become a main political topic in the Louisiana Senate race between Mary Landrieu and Bill Cassidy.

*Local musicians are taking part in the "Lake Charles Live Album Series."  We will have a live preview of their concert that covers music from "The Strokes."

*Meteorologist Ben Terry is tracking freezing temperatures across much of Southwest Louisiana.  He says a warm up is on the way!  Find out when we are expected to see rain and temperatures in the mid 70s.

Make it a Sunrise day!
