*A lot of items are on today's ballot, but by far one of the biggest races for Calcasieu Parish voters is District Attorney.  Check out a preview of that race this morning.

*For the first time in years, almost every office in Westlake is up for grabs. Find out what could change for the city.

*36 Senate seats will be decided today, with eight being too close to call.  Louisiana is one of the states being watched by people across the country with the race involving Mary Landrieu, Bill Cassidy and Rob Maness.

*We will be talking live this morning to Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler about voter turnout, improved technology at polling sites and efforts to reduce the number of special elections.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry says rain is on the way - but not until tomorrow!  He'll have your pinpoint forecast.

Make it a Sunrise day!
