Four Louisiana heroes awarded Purple Hearts

Good Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*Four Louisiana National Guardsmen are presented with Purple Hearts over the weekend.  It's the oldest military decoration in the world still being used today.  We'll introduce you to the latest recipients.

*Friends of a soldier killed in Afghanistan plan to install a black granite memorial in a DeRidder Park.  Learn what is being done now to have a permanent display for Sgt. 1st Class Andrew T. Weathers.

*Election day is tomorrow and Calcasieu Parish officials are not only reminding you to go vote, but to also be aware of changes made to some of the polling places.  Find out what's behind the changes and how you can check out the differences before heading out tomorrow.

*New poll numbers show Republican senate candidates in key southern states are in strong positions to win and that includes Louisiana.  We'll go through the latest numbers in the Mary Landrieu, Bill Cassidy, Rob Maness race.

*It's Pet Shop Monday on Sunrise!  We will introduce you to a cat or dog in need of a loving forever family.
