Next step in Felix Vail case, late night apartment fire, Rita anniversary

*A hearing could happen later this morning in the Felix Vail case.  He is set to stand trial for the 1962 death of his wife Mary Horton.  We'll tell you about the next step in this case and how the hearing could affect evidence in the trial.

*The Lake Charles Fire Department responds to a late night apartment fire.  See the video from the complex near Country Club Road and Pecan Drive and find out how many families are involved.  We'll also tell you about an overnight fire in DeQuincy.

*Today marks nine years since the landfall of Hurricane Rita in Southwest Louisiana.  Today we reflect on efforts to rebuild and move forward since the storm's devastation in 2005.

*Louisiana State Police troopers are investigating the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy by a Terrebonne Sheriff's deputy.  Learn the chain of events that led to the shooting at an abandoned home.
