West Nile virus reported in SWLA, Common Core latest, Creole license plate

Good Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*State health officials report a mild case of West Nile virus is found in Jeff Davis Parish.  11 new cases have been reported throughout the state, including one new death, bringing the total number of deaths up to five.

*Common Core will be highlighted in a new series of legislative audit reports designed to give detailed information on key issues in Louisiana. Find out what each brief will discuss and the latest on arguments against this education standard.

*Louisiana is no longer the most obese state in the country.  According to the latest data, Louisiana dropped from first to sixth most obese in the country.  Hear who's now topping the scales nationwide and who's considered the healthiest.

*You can now show off your Creole heritage with a new Louisiana license plate.  We'll tell you what the plates say and how much they cost.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry tells us he's tracking a front that is expected to bring some rain and lower humidity.
