Volunteers work to restore Cameron coastline

Good Afternoon,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on today.

Losing a loved one to suicide can leave behind a lot of unanswered questions. KPLC's Erika Ferrando shows you how a local group is helping raise awareness and preventing others from making that choice.

Plus, volunteers got up early this morning to restore the Cameron coastline. KPLC's Monica Grimaldo was there for the replanting efforts.

Back here in Lake Charles volunteers were also busy for the annual Beach Sweep. KPLC's Erica Bivens has the story.

And, some of the most tricked out cars, trucks, and motorcycles rolled into the Lake Charles Civic Center this weekend. We'll show the best of the best from the 23rd Annual Midnight Fantasies Tour.

In terms of weekend weather -- it doesn't get much better than this. Meteorologist Zack Fradella has a look at the forecast.

We'll see you tonight at Six for these stories and more. Until then, we're always on at kplctv.com.
