Missing Beauregard teen found safe

BEAUREGARD PARISH, LA (KPLC) - A Beauregard teenager who was last seen at her home at about 10 p.m. Wednesday night has been found safe.

Kinzsly Hoffpauir, 13, was located at a friend's residence and will be returned to her own residence near DeRidder.

"Deputies following up on the case received information that Ms. Hoffpauir was found unharmed hiding under a bed," said Joe Toler, spokesperson for the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office.

Toler said that authorities were worried about Hoffpauir's well-being.
