Warrants issued for three suspects in Lafayette armed robbery

Lafayette, LA (KPLC) - Lafayette Police have issued arrest warrants for three suspects in connection with a Wednesday armed robbery that took place in the 3500 block of Moss St.

Wanted on charges of armed robbery are: 19-year-old Demarcus Bernard, 20-year-old Bryson Dixon and 26-year-old Jordon Willis, all of Lafayette.

According to investigators, three black males entered the location on Moss St. -- one of them armed with a handgun. The suspects ordered an employee to open the safe before removing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects also stole money from the registers before exiting the store and fleeing the area. They were last seen wearing masks and gloves.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information on the location of the suspects is asked to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
