PENINSULA, OH (WOIO) -

The search for Hillary K. Sharma continues in Cuyahoga Valley National Park on Saturday.

She was last seen on Tuesday. Concerned friends notified the police department that she had not been seen for some time.

The 30-year-old is a resident of Eastlake. She is 5'3" tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.

At midnight on Friday, Sharma's vehicle was found at Boston Store Visitor Center. Some of her belongings have been found in the park since.

Eastlake Police initiated a search for Sharma, which continued throughout the day with many participating agencies. The search included ground teams with dogs, horse patrol, boats on the Cuyahoga River, along with a helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft. The search, which will continue until nightfall Saturday, is led by the National Park Service, Valley Fire Department, and Brecksville Fire Department.

"There's a lot of places she could be in this 33,000-acre park," said Park Ranger Jennie Vasarhelyi.

The search is staging from Boston Store Visitor Center, the primary visitor center for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The parking lot is closed, but the visitor center is open. Visitors coming to the center will be directed to a grass lot at the corner of Riverview and Boston Mills roads.

Strangers and park visitors have joined in the search effort.

"I'm spending my day because she's lost, and I'm a mom. I've got seven girls, and if it was my girl, I'd expect y'all to be here," said Stacy Watson.

People who may have information about Sharma are asked to call the National Park dispatch office at 440-546-5945. Search efforts will continue on Sunday morning at daybreak at targeted areas.
