Deputies arrest man accused of setting his wife on fire

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

An Augusta man wanted for setting his wife on fire was arrested in Aiken County Sunday night, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. 

Ronnie Lee Jones, 30, was arrested in the 600 block of Buena Vista Avenue in North Augusta after deputies received an anonymous tip. 

Jones was wanted for aggravated assault after deputies said he doused his wife with gasoline and then set her on fire Friday at McGruder's Auto, located at 1901 15th St.

Deputies said Jones had been living at the car shop.
