Three motorcyclists are hit head on by a vehicle Thursday night, two were injured- one critically.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. at 10427 Detroit in Cleveland on August 21.

Police say the riders, who were traveling in a group with about 20 other Broken City Motorcycle members, were traveling east on Detroit when a car headed west crossed center lines and plowed right into three people.

One of those motorcyclists was unharmed while another suffered minor injuries and was treated at MetroHealth Medical Center.

The third victim, Jennifer Jeffrey, 40, was critically injured and lost a leg in the accident.

Jeffrey's loved ones tell 19 Action News she is the mother of two teens, works as a dialysis tech and takes care of both her father and father-in-law.

A fund has been created for Jennifer Jeffrey and anyone wanting to donate money can do so at any Key Bank location.

Officers located 40-year-old Ella Carson, the female driver of the 2002 Chrysler, and placed her under arrest for the hit-skip and aggravated vehicular assault.

At this time alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
