Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

Two Iota men are facing attempted murder charges following a violent home invasion. A woman was assaulted and managed to get away. Look for that story at noon, and you can read more about it HERE.

Meanwhile, a Longville man charged in the death of his wife last year makes a plea in court. At noon, find out how much time Randal Langley will spend in prison in connection with the case. You can read all about it HERE.

Also today, for parents of teenagers, not knowing where your child is can be frustrating, even frightening. A Texas mom took control and invented a cell phone app that her kids, and yours, can't ignore.

Plus, a high school student deserves some big time extra credit: she built a prosthetic hand for amputees. We'll show you why her project is so unique.

Zack tells me all good things must come to an end, and the dreaded humidity will start to climb during the day. What can we expect tonight and into the weekend? Tune in at noon for Zack's live, local forecast for the answer. You can also check out the latest weather conditions HERE.

Remember, if you're away from the TV at noon, you can always tune in to kplctv.com to watch us online and your mobile device.

Have a great day everyone!
