SHREVEPORT (KPLC) - The United States Marshall's Office arrested 23-year-old Malcolm Jamar Zenon at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday in Shrevport, La.

Zenon was arrested on an outstanding warrant by the Lake Charles Police Department on charges of second-degree aggravated battery and illegal use of dangerous instrumentalities. The charges stem from a July 27 shooting on St. Mary Drive in Lake Charles that left one man injured.

Zenon's bond was set at $350,000 by Judge Robert Wyatt.

Lake Charles Police are working with the United States Marshall's Office in Shreveport to relocate Zenon to Lake Charles, where he will be booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
