A boil advisory remains in effect in West Allen Parish

ALLEN PARISH, LA (KPLC) -
A boil advisory remains in effect for some customers of the West Allen Parish Water District.

Water samples were collected and sent to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, and the water district is waiting to hear back about the results.

The Leblanc area will remain under a boil advisory pending the results from the water samples.  

The affected area included customers along the following roads in Leblanc: Methodist Camp Road, Retreat Road, Gene Bell Road, Ray Johnson Road, Gill Road, Huckleberry Road, Sand Pit Road, Radio Tower Road, Seth Baggett Road and Duhon Lane.
