Four arrested on theft, drug charges in Roanoke

ROANOKE, LA (KPLC) - -

Two women and two juveniles were arrested Monday after authorities executed an arrest warrant at a home on West Fifth Street in Roanoke.

Jeff Davis Sheriff's Office spokesman Chris Ivey said Brittany Skye Legros, 24, and Madeline Kennedy Credeur, 17, were arrested on charges of possession of stolen things, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, drug use in presence of a juvenile and illegal proceeds from drug transactions.

Credeur was also charged with possession of a legend drug.

One juvenile was charged with simple burglary, felony theft, misdemeanor theft, illegal possession of stolen things, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal proceeds from drug transactions. The other was charged with poss of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal proceeds from drug transactions.

Ivey said detectives recovered items from a previous burglary of a business and also located a stolen dirt bike.

"A search of the residence resulted in deputies locating over 1/4 ounce of marijuana, two hand-rolled marijuana cigarettes, four packets of synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $176 hidden next to the narcotics," Ivey said.
