Advanced Auto Parts robbed at knife-point in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who robbed the Advanced Auto Parts, 905 N Telegraph Road, around 10 p.m. Saturday.
 
Employees say the suspected had a knife and demanded money. After employees granted his request, deputies say the suspect forced the employees into a back room as he fled the store.
 
One employee suffered minor injuries. The robbery is currently under investigation.

    A pipeline has ruptured following a dump truck accident on U.S. 90 in Vinton. The accident happened just inside the western border of the Vinton city limits, Police Chief Ricky Fox said. Fox said the dump truck ran off the road and over a high-pressure nitrogen gas pipeline, knocking off a valve.     A 12-inch water main break on Benoit Road in Sulphur may cause water outages for residents and businesses in the area. Crews are working to repair the break but water will remain out of service indefinitely until project completion.
