In 2000, the Pillows passed it down to their niece, Radonna, and her husband, James Kinnaird.
James and Radonna, along with their children, Timothy, Kiera and J, work together to keep this community favorite running.
"I have a lot of memories down here with my little brother. When he was born, we put him in his little carrier and just sat him on a table and he could sleep through the whole lunch run. That was fun memory, now he's old enough to work here so I got to train him an work with him. And, he's a joy to be around so it's a lot of fun," Kiera said.
"It's just crazy to think, wow my parents own the place that is so popular and people love it so much," J said.
At the Dixie Dog you can find traditional hot dogs and hamburgers, but the Kinnairds are always looking to spice up a few of their classics.
Frequent visits to this town staple has even led to a few love stories.
The Kinnairds said the past two couples who owned the restaurant fell in love at the Dixie Dog many years ago.
