New Orleans detectives are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred in the Seventh Ward. The incident happened Wednesday around 4 a.m. in the 2200 block of St. Anthony Street.

Police say that the victim met a woman, known as "Ali W" through a social media site, known as "Tagged," and arranged to meet her in person. As he drove into the 2200 block of St. Anthony Street, he saw the woman standing outside of a house. After talking with her a few minutes, she went inside the home and came back out. As she walked back up to the victim's car, an unknown man got into the car through the passenger side door and told the victim to get out.

After a brief physical struggle, a second man walked up to the car on the driver's side and pointed a black handgun with a silver finish at the victim, according to police. He told the victim to get out of the car and the victim complied. The two men and the woman got into the vehicle before traveling south on St. Anthony Street, then in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described to be around 5'10", weighing around 190-200 pounds. The armed suspect is described as 6', weighing around 190-200 pounds. He has high cheek bones, large lips, a medium-sized nose, a short fade hairstyle and a goatee. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dark-colored jeans, police said.

"Ali W" is described as 5'6", 160-pounds. Her last name and date of birth is unknown.
