NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A security guard was among three people shot outside a Nashville bar Friday night.

The shooting happened at about 11:30 p.m. near the corner of Church Street and 17th Ave. North.

According to Metro police Lt. Mike Gilliland, the trouble started when security guards at WKND asked a man to leave.

He left and returned a short time later with a gun.

Police say a security guard was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical-but-stable condition.

Two other victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Early Saturday, police released a surveillance photo of the suspected gunman carrying an umbrella.

The suspect is about 5'10" weighing about 165 lbs with very long braids.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
