LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -
The 27th Annual Cajun Music and Food Festival will be held July 18-20 at the Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles.
Doors open at 4 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $7 for adults. Children ages 12 and under get in free. The Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association is hosting the event.
The event will feature Cajun music, dancing, arts and crafts and food. There will be a live auction, a silent auction and raffles for prizes such as an accordion, a wooden rocker and adult and child scrub boards.
Performers at the festival will include Ellis Vanicor and the Lacassine Playboys, Chris Miller and Bayou Roots, Geno Delafoss and the French Rockin Boogie and more.
The festival will wrap up with a French mass at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
Ice chests will not be allowed on the festival grounds.
