CROWLEY, LA (KPLC) - Interstate 10 Eastbound at the East Crowley exit (Exit 82/La. 1111) and Interstate 10 Westbound at the Duson Exit (Exit 92/La. 95) have been shut down.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development reports that the closure is due to a gas leak in the area. Louisiana State Police Troop I said there was a pipeline rupture.

Motorists are encouraged to detour via La. 13, U.S. 190 and Interstate 49.
