YARNELL, AZ (CBS5) -

Ideas for the Yarnell Hill Fire Memorial were presented Thursday night to the community.

A professor from the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture showed three design concepts for a memorial to honor the 19 fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013.

All three ideas incorporate a park with trees, water, and charred objects found after the fire.

The memorial is being built by donations. Some of those donations have come from the sale of memorial bricks, which will be part of the park design.
