LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Ainsley's Angels will hold their inaugural "Rolling with the Wind" 5K on Saturday at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The race begins an hour before sunset, but race participants can pick up their bibs or registration packets at 5:30 p.m. on race day or from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday at LA Running.

Event organizers say they expect members from 10-12 of their chapters from across the U.S. to attend. Following the race, there will be a celebration at the Lake Charles Civic Center, featuring food and music. 

To register for the race, click HERE. Pre-registration is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Registration on race day is $30 for members or $40 for non-members.

Registration includes a t-shirt, a bag and a medal while supplies last. Registration will also give participants free entry into the festival following the race.

Those who do not want to participate in the race but still want to attend the festival afterward may purchase $10 wristbands on race day.

Proceeds will benefit Ainsley's Angels of Southwest Louisiana.
