CAMERON PARISH, LA (KPLC) - A big change is coming to the Cameron Parish School Board.
Superintendent Stephanie Rodrigue announced her retirement at Monday's school board meeting. She gave a 90-day notice and said she would leave sooner if a replacement can be found.
Louisiana State Police once investigated Rodrigue in connection with a $52,000 payment she received in December of 2012, but the state attorney general's office found no criminal wrongdoing on her part.
She has been the Cameron Parish School Board superintendent since 2007.
