Fatal ATV crash could result in vehicular homicide charge

Good Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*A fatal ATV crash could result in a vehicular homicide charge.  We'll tell you what investigators in Caddo Parish are saying happened that could mean time in jail for the driver.

*It will be up to the LSU FACES Lab to solve the mystery of a body found in St. Francisville.  Skeletal remains were found yesterday afternoon by a man cutting grass.

*Do you have gently used professional clothing collecting dust around your house?  We'll tell you about a donation drive happening this month in Lake Charles that could help an unemployed man or woman dress the part for a job interview.

*U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu will be at the Cajundome in Lafayette today pushing for more offshore energy production.  She will discuss ways to speed up the permitting process, remove costly regulations and expand revenue sharing for coastal states.

*The days following July 4th typically result in extra phone calls to animal shelters about pets that ran away because of loud fireworks.  In today's Sunrise Pet Shop, we'll talk about the best steps to take if your pet is missing.  We'll also introduce you to a dog or cat in need of a new home.

Make it a Sunrise day!
