TRAFFIC: Interstate 10 eastbound shut down at bridge, westbound down to one lane

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Authorities are on the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 eastbound near the Westlake exit.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. and eastbound traffic is completely stopped. State police said it could take at least one hour to clear the scene.

Westbound traffic is down to one lane as emergency vehicles are working to get to the crash site.
