The newscast featured former McNeese football assistant coach Broderick Fobbs, coming back to Lake Charles representing his new team, Grambling. The new Head Coach speaks about how the foundation of his principles come from his time with the Pokes.

We also hear from former McNeese QB Cody Stroud, on why he believes it will be a tough competition at Quarterback between KSU transfer Daniel Sams, junior Tyler Bolfing and sophomore Will Briscoe

Plus, Lake Charles native and Washington Marion grad Nate Livings hosted his first annual celebrity golf tournament entitled "A Link to the Links." The tournament benefiting kids who don't have the means to learn the game of golf. The former LSU and NFL Offensive Lineman not only had several friends in attendance, but he also held a silent auction for several memorabilia items as well. One of his friends in attendance, former Barbe and LSU star Justin Vincent, spoke with 7 Sports about why the tournament is for such a great cause.
