Iowa man facing numerous drug, weapon charges

IOWA, LA (KPLC) -

A 22-year-old Iowa man was arrested Wednesday on multiple drug and weapon charges, authorities said.

An official with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force said they searched a home on Dennison Road after receiving reports that Coby Ray Guillory was selling drugs from the residence.

The official said they recovered 11 pounds of marijuana, multiple firearms, numerous prescription drugs and approximately $3,000 in cash.

Guillory is facing charges of marijuana possession with intent to distribute, ecstasy possession, Xanax possession with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of Oxycotin and Oxycodone, eight counts of possession of firearms in the presence of narcotics, possession of a stolen firearm possession, Naproxen possession, distribution of marijuana and Xanax, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Guillory's bond is set at $43,500.
