A former Lake Charles man has been charged with 30 counts of sex crimes involving juveniles.

According to authorities, 41-year-old Paul L. Good sexually assaulted a 5-year-old between 2008 and 2011 in Calcasieu Parish.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Good also had sexual contact with a 6-year-old in 2001 while living in Texas.

Good, who was incarcerated on unrelated charges in Arkansas, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center Wednesday on 15 counts of aggravated rape and 15 counts of other sex-related crimes.
