    Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. But they're not too forthcoming when it comes to saying who they are or who they represent. TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A bicyclist died after being struck by a car this morning on Tucson's west side.

The driver of the car, 25-year-old Gerardo Cazares, was taken into custody and police said detectives determined drugs were a factor in the incident.

According to a witness at the scene, the car allegedly ran a red light, hit the woman on the bicycle and then veered to the right, hitting a parked car.  The accident happened shortly before 6 a.m.

Tucson police closed Speedway in both directions from North Main Avenue to Interstate 10. The road was reopened at about 11 a.m.

The woman, identified as 38-year-old Chris Lee Chambers, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Authorities booked Cazares into the Pima County Jail on charges of second degree murder and criminal damage.
