Lafayette dog grooming business in hot water over youtube video

Good Thursday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*A Lafayette dog grooming business owner and her daughter are issued a misdemeanor summons on a charge of cruelty to animals.  We'll show you the video released on youtube that shows employees acting aggressively toward customers' pets.

*Construction of two permanent VA clinics in Southwest Louisiana could be expedited thanks to the passage of a new Veterans Administration bill.  We'll show you how this bill was received by Congress and where it goes from here.

*If you have a big old barn that is just taking up space, you might wonder how else it could be used.  We'll take you inside a barn in Eunice that is making good use of its space.

*Do you know where you come from?  Its a question being raised by a group looking to find out exactly where the first Acadians settled.  Learn about the "New Acadia Project," which is designed to locate, identify and investigate the homes and unmarked graves of the Acadian exiles in Louisiana over 200 years ago.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry tells us more changes are on the way after midnight.  He'll pinpoint the rain chances and the possibility of any severe storms.

Make it a Sunrise day!
