TRAFFIC: Flipped 18-wheeler shuts down I-10 eastbound

Lake Charles Police report that at about 9:30 a.m. an 18-wheeler flipped on Interstate 10 eastbound near the Opelousas St. exit.

Traffic is currently being diverted onto Interstate 210, and traffic already on Interstate 10 is being diverted to Hwy 90 at Fruge St.

Authorities say Interstate 10 is expected to remain closed for about 4-6 hours.
