BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The U.S. Coast Guard and Department of Marine Resources (DMR) rescued a man who went overboard and brought him back to the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor Sunday evening.

Officials said the man fell off a boat in the Mississippi Sound.

According to Coast Guard officials, the man went overboard between West Horn Island and Deer Island. Coast Guard officials say they got the call about the incident around 6:30 p.m.

At least one Coast Guard vessel and three DMR vessels were participating in the search.
