TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Police responded to a call of a fight at 1:25 pm Sunday afternoon in the 1400 block of North Whitten Avenue.

One suspect was identified, 28-year-old Gregory Perry. According to police, Perry got into a verbal altercation with another man, and then entered his home to retrieve a pistol. Perry threatened to kill the other man and one round was fired from the pistol.

Officers were able to secure the pistol. Perry was arrested and booked into the Smith County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
