SOMERSET WEST, SOUTH AFRICA (RNN) - A man riding his bike in South Africa was robbed at gunpoint, and the GoPro camera attached to his helmet recorded the entire incident.

The video, which was uploaded to YouTube by the victim on Monday, shows the man riding a bicycle down a path when another man approaches him, holding up a gun.

The victim gets off his bike while the gunman takes the victim's cell phone and car keys. Two other people also approach the victim, and one of them is seen taking away the bike. The robbers can be seen gesturing and telling the victim to walk away from them.

At one point the gunman appears to look right at the camera but does not tell the victim to remove it.

On his YouTube page, the victim said it appeared the suspects did not know what his GoPro camera was and hoped that the video would be used as evidence for the suspects' prosecution.

Police spokesman Lt. Col. Andre Traut told The Citizen that the three suspects have been caught and charged with robbery.
