OBERLIN, LA (KPLC) -

Two men are in custody after a shooting incident Sunday evening in Oberlin, city police said.

Police Chief Grady Haynes said Raymond Cole Jr. and Johnathan Victorian got into an argument at a gas station.

Haynes said Cole left the station in his vehicle and Victorian began to chase him.

Cole fired a shot from a shotgun into the air during the chase, Haynes said.

Cole was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharge of a firearm within city limits, resisting arrest and driving without a license.

Victorian was cited for his role in the chase but was arrested on a separate charge of failure to appear in court.
